AE Medical Billings Online (AEO) is an Ontario-focused OHIP billing platform developed by AE Medical Billings. It combines automated billing tools with more than 20 years of Ontario medical billing experience, allowing physicians to choose how much of the billing process they want to manage themselves — from Self-Serve to Guided or Full Service.
AE Online was built specifically for Ontario physicians and OHIP billing. It incorporates Ontario billing requirements, service codes, validation rules and physician workflows, and is backed by more than 20 years of hands-on Ontario medical billing experience.
Self-Serve gives you the AE Online platform and tools to manage your own billing. With Guided, you enter and submit your initial billings while our team manages rejections and follow-up and provides ongoing billing advice and support. With Full Service, our team manages the entire billing process for you, from initial billing entry through submission and follow-up.
Yes. You can move between Self-Serve, Guided and Full Service as your needs change, without having to change billing platforms.
No. AE Online is a standalone OHIP billing platform and does not require you to change your EMR. Billing information can be entered directly or processed using AE Online's batch billing tools.
